Noisy drain covers, 8th April

Two drain covers opposite Flats 36a and 36b, green building, bottom of Mill Street. Covers causing excessive banging noise when passed over by vehicles travelling down Mill Street. My tenant at 36a kept awake at night by loud banging noise. Threatening to leave unless covers are fitted with muffler strips placed around rim of frame. Think drain not bedded in correctly, hence loud banging noise.

Multiple Vehicles Blocking Spaces, 7th April

This car park for residents of 2-24 High St is blocked by multiple vehicles in various states of disrepair. As a result vehicles are now parking across the double yellow lines and pavement infront of these houses, causing an impediment to traffic, increasing vehicle speeds, risks to pedestrians and school children as drivers rush to get out of the way of oncoming traffic. Who is responsible for this housing and parking? This wasn't a problem in the past, but now we've got a weekend Mike Brewer operating out of a car park and a bunch of illegally park cars.

This is a downhill footpath exit onto a main road on a curve limiting visibility. There should be a barrier preventing a running child, person in a wheelchair, etc exiting the footpath too fast and falling into the road. Similar barriers are present at the foot of paths that are not even sloped toward the road in other locations and on all entrances to the towpath on the river.
