EMA138433 / fixmystreet 8330377 The adopted footpath on the one side is I believe WNC responsibility to maintain. The adjacent side where there is no public footpath although it is still used as one, is unclear. It is, I believe, jointly owned by multiple developers and Persimmon is responsible for arranging maintenance. This issue remains unresolved. Please can we do what we can to fix the problem. Thank you.

Stretch of Cotswold Avenue from Dulce Road to Newton Road, including the entrance to the sports centre, pothole reports for this area have disappeared from this site even though it's been reported for months. No spray paint to highlight them or indicate any work imminent. Insanely bad and dangerous road condition and too many potholes to take photos of. Potholes even on the speedbumps and a number of the potholes at the very edge of the road are very deep meaning subsurface of the kerb is exposed. No chance of a cyclist or scooter going past safely. Vehicles swerving all over the place to avoid potholes and vehicles permanently park on either side of the road even at entrance to junctions and roundabouts, so there is no space for swerving. (One section was resurfaced? during a road closure 29th September 2025 until 1st October 2025. The new surface immediately followed all the contours of the previous degraded road surface, so hopefully the whole run will be done up to a decent standard in future.)

Please treat this SERIOURSLY and with outmost importance. My car was damaged here several times, there is no street illumination and at night its impossible to see the potholes. Cars are parked on either side of the road and there is no way to avoid them. THE ROAD NEEDS ENTIRE SURFACING. SHOULD this not be treated with outmost importance, complaints and further escalations will follow on my behalf. WE ARE NOT IN A 3RD WORLD COUNTRY. WE pay road tax to ensure a safe driving on them.
