Tree still over hanging garden......., 8th March

This was originally reported in May 2025. A small trim has subsequently done in March 2026. This tree is still over hanging our garden and the roots are lifting our patio and bowing our fence. We have been told by the council appointed tree surgeon and an independent tree surgeon that cutting the tree back enough to not over hang our garden will leave the tree unsafe. We've also been informed that cutting the roots back to our boundary line (as suggested by someone from the council) will also leave the tree unsafe. The tree is also covered in Ivy which is now growing up/through our fence, causing damage to our fence. We will be investigating how far the roots travel under our property. We would like this tree removed as soon as possible.
