There are untreated weeds growing in the gutter and on the block pavement parts of the footpaths throughout the whole village of Newtoft. This photo is from Fairfax Close, but the weeds are significantly worse on other streets, especially Washington Drive. Please can these be treated ASAP? Thank you.

This property appears to be unlived in and as a result, the grass and shrubs in the garden are overgrown and causing an obstruction of the footpath. I’m reporting this on behalf of Toft Newton Parish Council as a number of residents have raised concerns with me, about the state of the garden and about the obstruction of the footpath.

Requires no further action? Have you tried to drive around that corner? I regularly have to cross onto the wrong side of the road, and only last weekend when there was a cycle race did I see MANY of the cyclists doing the same thing! It is an accident waiting to happen on that corner, just beside the turning to the farm. I respectfully request that you look at this again - if we have any further heavy rain this will simply get worse. There are a great many heavy wagons and farm vehicles going down this road every day which also makes the situation worse. I look forward to hearing from you

Urgent Pothole Repair Required on Road, 2nd March

This piece of road has crumbled and there is a huge pothole which is very difficult to avoid due to adjacent potholes. I drove over this, as I wasn’t aware how deep it was (due to being filled with water), and the noise was horrendous. This needs to be repaired as soon as possible please.

From the marked location to the village of Newtoft the roads are full of potholes. Some recent repairs are even starting to breakdown. The state of the roads in the parish is wholly unacceptable. There have been about 20 individual reports of potholes in February alone. LCC needs to take urgent action to repair these potholes which are of various depths, lengths and widths, but they compounded by the edge of the road completely breaking down in places. Given the number of potholes and the large stretches of roads affected, it is not unrealistic to request a complete resurface of the roads affected.
