Recently replaced areas of tarmac, on both sides of the road, have sunk quite extensively since work carried out around 3-4 weeks ago. The road in these areas is now worse than it was prior to the work being carried out. Suggest the contractor needs to return and rectify?

Large fallen tree branch making footbridge to be impassable, 2nd July

The overhanging trees were reported to the Parish Council and NKDC mid May. Both deny any responsibility for maintenance. The lower branches have been cut back by local residents frustrated about the lack of maintenance are being unable to walk over the footbridge without being hit in the face by low tree branches. This evening a large tree branch has fallen causing the footbridge to the recreation area to be impassable.

We are the owners of Lindum Park on Station Road Ruskington Sleaford lincs NG34 9BL and we have homes arriving like you can see in my attached pictures. We have a new one arriving end of August 2026. We know the bottom of the trees have just been trimmed but the tops haven’t and they scratch and mark our new homes when they are in the back of the transport lorries. These homes are brand new and are in immaculate condition and have previously been damaged and scraped by these tree branches and green marks left by the leaves. We would be really grateful if these can be properly pollarded so our homes can arrive on site without damage being caused. We have been in business since 1977 and the trees are getting bigger and fuller and causing us concern Thank you in advance

Since pavement was resurfaced new surface is already wearing and showing damage by car tyres. This has benn happening since it was completed and even before the current heat wave. We were told to give it 2 hrs to dry, yet even 24 hrs later on a cool day cars just chewed up the surface. Virtually ever drive shows tyre tracks in the new surface creating loose stones and re-exposing the old surface. A very poor finish!!

4 vehicles all in public road not taxed reported multiple times to fix my street and DVLA, 25th June

There are 4 vehicles on west road parked in the public highway Now if then have tax There have been reported multiple times in the last year in fix my street and to One of the vehicles hasn’t been taxed since 2023 they are all SORN and should not be on the public highway at all Three of them are occupying a turning and parking point for the entire road stopping all residents from parking and blocking access to gates area for the house next to this turning point two of these vehicles have been there for over a year and one appeared the other day but all are SORN. And therefor should not be parked there at all as it’s public highway The forth can be seen further down the road outside 42 or 44 west road this hasn’t been taxed spice 2023 and is clearly being used at times as it reappear and disappeared with out tax. Has previously said all have been reported to DVLA and two councillors have already been round and visited the owner of all these vehicles and yet nothing is being done about their continued abuse of road taxing law this resident of the street has further three vehicles in their drive one of which is also SORN. The residents in the area are clearly not happy with their abuse of the law or of the fact that they are fully the street with untaxed vehicles and never moving them meaning it makes parking for guests and turning difficult for the other residents it’s wildly unfair that they aren’t paying Road taxing on these 4 vehicles yet are using the street as their own car park as can be seen by the multiple reports on fix my street over the last year. The other week a red car was reported untaxed and no MOT outside another house on the road. Please can something be done about these vehicles and fensure DVLA do something about this clear breaking of the law over and over again.

Path is covered in loose stone chips from the resurfacing work the other week. It is a trip hazard and they are all over the pavement. They are also very uncomfortable to walk on, especially for my kids walking to school.

Leasingham lane footpath to elm tree, 19th June

The path is almost impassable for school children now who use this daily to walk to school, this is not grass but brambles so they cannot get past it. Please can this be strimmed? We had similar problems last year so the schedule isn’t currently workable to ensure the path remains clear. It is also heavily used by dog walkers

Public footpath between 27 and 29 Winchelsea Road., 18th June

Where the footpath crosses the dyke (there is a foot bridge), there is a large, dense shrub/bush that has grown and seems to be developing into a small tree. It is about 18 ft tall. As it grows it is pushing against my boundary fence which will eventually give way.
