I tried to report this tree through the winter when dead wood was falling from it daily onto the path where children walk to school. Highways came out and trimmed it back from the path but did not remove the deadwood. The tree surgeon explained the case said it was not a highways tree and that the tree needed pollarding badly. I have spoken to the parish council who have confirmed it is a highways tree however speaking to highways they do not care. The dead wood continuously falls onto the path, road and into my garden. It needs to be pollarded.

It's a big lime tree growing on the pavement outside our house. The pavement is raised and is a trip hazard. We have witnessed an elderly lady who tripped and nearly fell over. Fortunately the lady didn't suffer any harm. This pavement has a lot of pedestrian on the way to and from the railway station and children to and from the local school. It's getting progressively worse as the tree gets bigger.
