This has been going on for months now. It’s an accident waiting to happen. Reported here before but council still not resolved problem. Can’t believe it’s still there and getting worse. PLEASE can the council look at this issue as the potholes are getting ridiculous now and an accident or car damage is imminent.

Cars are parked on both sides of the monument road on most of the evenings/nights. Yesterday (July 9, 2026) - cars were parked on both sides of this road, making it very difficult to pass through. Same issues on Hagley Road near that area, cars park on Hagley Road which could result in fatal accidents. Is Council and Police not checking.... Were are the parking wardens who are actively running around harassing drivers on other roads in day time. Don't they operate in the night or is the council hand in glove with the businesses in these locations?

This vehicle has been parked on the grass since Saturday night, 4 July 2026. A notice displayed in the windscreen states that the vehicle is broken down and that a mechanic would attend on Monday. However, one Monday has already passed and the vehicle remains in the same location. It is also unclear how a broken-down vehicle came to be parked off the road on the grass. The vehicle has not moved since it was first observed and appears to have been left there for an extended period. I request that this vehicle be investigated to determine whether it has been abandoned and whether it is being parked unlawfully on the grass.

Ongoing illegal camping/fishing and smoking of drugs on canal embankment, 8th July

This section of canal is being consistently taken over by people fishing for days, smoking drugs and erecting tents and taking over the space for days and nights at a time. There is a lot of new housing in this area and residents are being affected by the constant smoking of marijuana, chatting and swearing late into the night and cannot keep their windows open. Residents and children are unable to utilise the space safely because of this antisocial and unsightly behaviour. There is also a lot of mess from these people who are camping up to fish sometimes for 3-4 days in a row and leaving their belongings, shoes, clothing and litter strewn across the canal embankment. Residents are concerned that this will also attract further people camping up and taking over the space and possibly rough sleepers if it is not dealt with. It is unfair that the space is essentially being "claimed" by certain individuals and that residents and other pedestrians cannot enjoy these spaces on the canal.
