If you look at the Nelson street shops pointer, it seems to point up Parliament street arrow pointing left ⬅️ I needs to pont straight over the road down Nelson st ⬆️ I reported this on the phone a year ago, a new sign was put in but the direction hasn't been rectified.

Outside Subscription Rooms and George Street pedestrian area, 2nd June

The coloured tarmac outside the Sub Rooms isn’t clear whether it is pedestrianised or for cars to ignore pedestrians and drive at them. To walkers it looks like a shared area as there is no curb. To drivers they drive at you as if you are being obstructive. I thought there used to be a sign asking drivers to give way but that has disappeared.

Email received 29/05/2026 - copy attached. Customer reports a large tree branch in danger of falling on public path at the location. One of the large branches on the tree has began to break and the tree is now bowing significantly over the pathway.
