• The hedges bordering the public footpath and steps to the A44 are very overgrown indicatingl long lack of maintenance by OCC to point that headroom is restricted but more importantly the extensive overhanging branches I include many exposed thorns from brambles wild roses and other shrubs which can ensnare walkers and could easily damage face and even eyes of pedestrians: eye-damage could extend to loss of sight and expose OCC to substantial damages on grounds of breach of absolute liability to users of footpath. The now dense growth is also affecting the neighbour’s wall to number 5 Chaucers Lane., reports have been lodged with Woodstock Town Council who have failed to forward them to you. URGENT action by OCC is called for to protect pedestrians from facial injury and damage to sight. This footpath is used by hundreds every day seeking the only free entry to Blenheim ParkThis problem has been growing worse over past twelve months but now represents a hazard to users.
