• Ridiculous amount of available footway width marked up as given over to E-Scooter storage/deposit bays. How can in excess of 75-80% of the footway width be allocated in this way? Did GCC mark this up/sanction it? Was this done by Cheltenham BC or the E-Scooter firm without GCC being fully consulted/involved? This forces pedestrians towards footway edge and nearly into the carriageway! 2 people would struggle to pass each other here when numerous scooters are offloaded and mobility vehicles may not fit without toppling into carriageway, plus what about visually impaired people or those led by guide dogs? Really have to ask who is doing the due diligence scrutiny & safety auditing of this stuff on the ground when this it is being proposed, designed, and implemented and who is signing it off post completion!? NEEDS SERIOUS REVIEWING!
