• The Road Gulley opposite the small gate to "The Oaks" is blocked causing water to back up in the ditch across the road. Unless cleared this will cause flooding to the road as it takes a lot of water.

  On 24/25 November two Highways staff closed the road (top of Spout Hill )(as it joins Woolaston Common) and laid loose chippings in the gully where the road edges have broken away and rain has washed the loose soil etc away over time. I spoke to the staff and told them that loose filling vibrated into place would not survive the first period of heavy rain and (sadly) I was right. The rain in recent days has simply washed the fill away leaving broken road edges again and covering the road in chippings. The attached pictures show the problem. This was in no way an adequate fix and all was a waste of scarce resources. This road is a prime route between the Forest and A48 and carries school traffic as well as agricultural vehicles and is frequently used by HGVs en route to Coleford. Please fix my road properly.
