• Peter Machin Jan 31, 2026, 03:38 GMT Hi Yesterday I tried to walk a footpath that's in Gloucestershire near the Gloucester and Sharpness canal.. This footpath runs directly through a farmers yard then across there fields.. As I was walking through the farm yard they have a nasty dog roaming free to seem to put you off walking through... once past that obstacle all the styles are broken and dangerous to use.. one is so overgrown with brambles that it's usable which forces you of the footpath towards the gate which is kindly covered with barbwire.. The farm in question is at Epney opposite The Anker Pub.. something needs sorting out about this as the farmer there is very rude and not nice at all.. they clearly don't like having a footpath through there properly..
