• I am on the Cold Aston Parish Council with the responsibility of being our Highways representative. I have reported extensive potholes on this road before but since the Fosse Way was recently closed for tree work to be carried all traffic was using the lanes into and out of the village, despite signs saying no HGVs and access to village only. The Northleach Road is now in a terrible state of repair with verges chewed up and virtually unusable for normal village traffic to pass by oncoming cars. The road itself is filthy and muddy. There is one stretch in particular which needs immediate attention with large potholes completely stretching across the entire width so that it is impossible to avoid going through the holes. This area has been reported before and has been (badly) repaired twice. It now really need for the entire width and length to be properly repaired and replaced, not just a bit of tar shoved into the worst holes.
