Ugly and badly installed planters and benches

Reported via mobile in the Damaged benches category anonymously at 12:25, Tuesday 18 August 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9966526.

These huge metal bins have been installed on Park Street and Queens Road recently, presumably to act as planters and benches. Several have been installed on the hill, but the necessary slope adjustments have been very poorly done so that the objects are at an awful angle. They are also incredibly ugly, and look like industrial waste that has been dumped on the street. Please can they be removed and replaced with more attractive alternatives that are better made and better installed?
