Willow trees along Barn Meadow, Old Amersham

Reported via desktop in the Park category anonymously at 09:40, Tuesday 18 August 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9965083.

I am worried that the willow trees on Barn Meadow and along the Misbourne have been allowed to grow too high, resulting in one recently falling on Amersham Old Town car park.

Many of these trees, especially those in Barn Meadow have grown some ten metres higher than willows should be allowed to grow and pose a risk to people and property should they fall.

A tree surgeon visiting my property commented that they were a danger and that was over three years ago. Any insight into plans for them would be much appreciated
