Parked Cars creating bad pinch point Kidbrooke Park Road
Reported in the Car parking category by Stephen McKenna at 18:16, Mon 6 March 2017
Sent to Royal Borough of Greenwich 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 996414.
The new Controlled Zone parking restrictions have produced a knock on effect now, pushing parked commuter vehicles further up Kidbrooke Park Road.
This is most problematic on the sharp bend by St.James CofE church and opposite the turnings into Wricklemarsh Road & Brook Lane.
Previously, car owners didn't park here but now they do (also abutting the flow of traffic on the eastern side) and it has created a serious pinch point as indicated in the attached images. Both for traffic (including three bus routes) going up and down KPR and for vehicles attempting to exit out of Wricklemarsh Road and Brook Lane.

I should point out that not that many cars were parked there today. Some days parking is near capacity on both sides.
