40 m.p.h sign obscured by foliage and heavy branches; this sign may be 'seen' when travelling due West along Pulpit Hill, approaching the bend before Eastmanton Farm (Sparsholt) coming from Childrey direction, This road reads as a 60mph/national speed limit on Sat Nav (both Waze and Google Maps, at least) so the 40 sign is important of traffic is to slow down sufficiently in time. This area may occasionally have pedestrians, including children nearby. There is a 20mph limit when approaching from the opposite direction, but again the Sat Nav treats this a 60.
