Reported in the Road traffic signs category anonymously at 19:33, Fri 3 March 2017

Sent to Norfolk County Council 2 minutes later

Just avoided being hit by a car coning from needham turning right into shotford road. He read the traffic sign, which is on the central reservation, and came up the wrong side of the traffic island at shotford road a logical direction if you did not know the junction, Aaaarg. The sign is in the wrong place. it should be on the Left side of the road, not in the middle of the road.

  • I have no experience of this problem being fixed. It is clear that nobody from the highways or roads or place department have been to see this potential death spot. Take a ride out and have look. Better stil take someone from out of area to have a look, or use your sat nav to have a look. It is easy to fix. Move the rhs sign to the lhs road. It will cost about 100 pounds but will sabve a life. Regards Roger This is easy to make safe. Thanks for checking.
