Repeated pothole/sinkhole S end of Berkeley St, Cheltenham
Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 11:32, Fri 3 March 2017
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 993605.
The pothole was given a refill a few weeks ago, but it is sinking badly again. The area was reported about 3 years ago in fixmystreet report 437381 and the area got a full resurface about a year ago, but this corner (the right turn from Berkeley St) did not last long.
Clearly the quality of repairs is not fit for the job, and the council should ask Amey for their money back or a free resurface, since their work is not adequate.

What seemed like a decent repair has now started to break down again. The new position in the right turn can be difficult to avoid in a car and particularly on a motor bike or cycle. Unless something is done soon it looks like it will end up worse than before. Clearly it is about time that this is repaired correctly, rather than making short term cheapo repairs which only last six months.

The location now has bad potholes for left-turning traffic. I wonder if the regular potholes at the junction are due to the sharp turn that 3-axled heavy vehicles make here. From a certain builders merchants not far along the road for example.
