Debris from hedge trimming

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 20:13, Thu 2 March 2017

Sent to Darlington Borough Council 2 minutes later

Recently the hedge surrounding the playing field down Glebe Road has been trimmed and all the debris from the hedge is now on the path and kirbside. The guttering is full of hedge trimmings, mud from the flow of wagons delivering and collecting from a nearby new housing development and also mulched leaves that have fallen from the trees that are located on the playing field. As a resident during autumn it is a constant battle to clear up the leaves from this site that fall into our gardens. The gutters need to be swept as any more debris will cause blockage if the drains.

  • It's obvious the council is cutting funding for jobs like this. But it's a little annoying when they have made the mess in the first instance by cutting this hedge.
