I have been told following my complaint being passed to several departments that it would be delt with by the parking department. There responce was there is one bin provided, they did have others before but they where set on fire. The area around the Carpark was regularly check by Dorset Waste Partnership. However when we took part in GBSPRINGCLEAN we collected over 20 bags of rubbish from this area. Please see photo of Weymouth Beach Dog Walkers and RSPB volunteers who took part in the litter pick

Reading the council minutes regarding this issue it seem Dorset Waste Partnership have reduced the amount of bins to reduce cost, in the hope people will take their litter home. I must say after clearing over 60 bags of rubbish from the beach and surounding areas this is clearly not working. . We have a sign as you enter Weymouth and Portland telling you about a fine of 75 for dropping litter. And after finding a dirty nappie dropped in another Carpark clearly that's not working either.

Have been told this is being reconsidered and hope it will be resolved, below is a photo of the only bin in the area. We had just completed a litter pick
