Raised metal drain cover causing trips

Reported via desktop in the Uneven surface category anonymously at 16:42, Saturday 8 August 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9918188.

I woman tripped on a small metal drain cover sticking up on the path just outside of the Abbey Gate archway cover and fell onto her front, hurting her hands and chest. She was quite badly shaken. I did not witness the fall but I assisted her when she came into the Central Library where I work.
