Road drains blocked to ditch from corner of 1 Fincham. Due to roots and road silt
Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9898604.
Road silt and roots have blocked the grey water drains from the houses to the ditch as they share the highways storm drain. This has been reported multiple times with the common rangers having dug the ditch to help. However lifting the manhole covers on the road and the corner of blackthorns shows severe silt buildup that needs pressure hosing out.

Blue circle is the big inspection pit that has been cleared of roots and road silt. However all directions from that point within the pinspection pit are blocked solid with road silt.

Still overflowing the road collecting more silt and blocking further!! Will soon create an ice patch on a tight bend on a national speed limit road. Assume as you’ve had months to fix you’ll be liable for any accident damages or injury caused as you’ve had fair and reasonable time from report to unblock a road drain

8 guys showed up. Sucked their teeth. Said… oh there’s a gas pipe in the drain… refused to fix problem and just “reported back”
