Sewage leakage and gully manhole cover

Dear GCC Team,

Urgent: Sewage Water Leak and Blocked Gully Requiring Immediate Attention

I am writing to request that you investigate and address an urgent issue as soon as possible. (Location is 191 Corsock street, G31 3RZ)

There is an underground sewage water leak that is surfacing from beneath the ground and flowing towards the manhole cover, as shown in the attached photographs.

I initially contacted Scottish Water regarding this matter, but I was advised that it falls under the responsibility of the council. The representative I spoke to also advised me to inform you that the gully sewage gutter requires clearing, as this may be contributing to the problem.

I would be grateful if this could be treated as a matter of urgency. The continuous flow of sewage water has created a significant slip hazard. I have almost tripped on several occasions, and unfortunately, my daughter has already fallen twice because of the conditions.

Please arrange for this issue to be inspected and resolved as soon as possible. I would appreciate confirmation that my report has been received and that appropriate action will be taken.
