Parking

Reported via mobile in the Car parking category anonymously at 07:25, Thursday 30 July 2026

Sent to Leeds City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9869845.

I complained about this around 2 years ago and got told there would be 10ft of yellow lines go in between the parked cars for you to be able to pull in when overtaking these parked cars, sometimes there is upto 15 cars parked and thats along time on the wrong side of the road. Its on a bend when approaching the road and the other traffic that has priority is coming over the brow of a hill so either way its not ideal. Its very busy often as people use this road as a cut through and there is a college and businesses down this road, as of today the path and road are getting resurfaced so there has been all the cars moved and cones put out and its been absolute bliss this week to drive down the right side of the road without making quick decisions about over taking or spending alot of my time just sat waiting for 6 priority cars to come past me, please can the yellow lines be reconsidered as a daily route its stressful and the amount of arguments I see with other drivers is also is alot.
