Bush on corner of street obstructing pavement
Reported via mobile in the Shrubs/Trees category anonymously at 11:45, Wednesday 29 July 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9865601.
Bush overgrown for months - as long as I can remember. This is a busy commuting pavement. I cannot get my buggy onto the pavement when crossing the entrance to Cotham park to continue walking down Cotham road south and have to step slightly into the road. Often nearly collide with other pedestrians or people have to stop or automatically step out into the road. Please can this be cut back so the full pavement width can be used? I note the previous reports here reference 8987294 saying that it remains an issue but I cannot see any evidence of a resolution at the location or on fix my street records

Sorry this should be located on the corner of Cotham park with Cotham road, where you would turn left from Cotham park onto Cotham road

The hedge is much worse and it's causing a real blind spot for oncomung pedestrians and obstruction for crossing safely.
