Signs blocking public walkway
Reported via Android in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 10:55, Tue 21 February 2017
Sent to Kent County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 985295.
Took my blind father in law to the doctors at swan yard gravesend. While there we decider to take a walk around the town. While using the walkway between swan yard and the high street via the market entrance. There was two very large signs that were blocking over 50% of the walkway. There IS NO NEED for them to be on a public walkway.

Went to town yesterday and the large Brown sign is STILL out in the walkway, the white one has been removed. but it is still causing an obstruction.

The owners do not care about people having to Walk around the sign, there is no reason for it to be out that far.

Walked through today No phone, and its even worse, there are now large wooden structures on the left and the outside seating area has a rope type barrier around them, which barely leaves room for people to pass each other in opposite directions if pushing prams. also on exiting the area towards the High street there is a large potted Tree that can easily poke you in the eyes if you ARE PARTIALLY sighted or blind. this has been going on for far to long.
