Overhanging trees blocking visibility at junction

Reported via desktop in the Trees category anonymously at 15:51, Wednesday 22 July 2026

Not reported to council

I am reporting a road safety hazard at the junction between Black Horse Logde and Wolverton Road, Oakridge Park.

Overgrown private vegetation is blocking the driver visibility splay. To pull out safely, drivers, particularly those in vehicles with a higher driving position, are forced to blindly nose their vehicles into live traffic, creating an imminent risk of a head-on collision or hitting a pedestrian. This is an adopted road, and the council needs to issue an urgent Section 154 Highways Act notice to the occupier to clear the visibility line.

This has been reported on a couple of occasions in the last 18m via the MK council reporting site to the landscaping team, who just close it without comment or action.
