Dog fouling from top to bottom of floyd road. This road is well used by residents and commuters. It is virtually impossible to walk along this road without avoiding dog fouling at least 20 times. This is an ongoing problem and serious measures need to be taken to irradicate this problem

To the person who posted this. I am working with a solicitor to take Greenwich Council to court for failing to provide dog fouling signs in Charlton. This is a serious offence. People walk here and our children play on the pavements. Greenwich council keeps marking these 'in progress' WHERE IS THE PROGRESS?

It doesn't take months to come and place signs on pavements. I appreciate there are other priorities but Charlton has been filing these complaints since last year. Surely someone can come place signs on Floyd Road, Troughton Road, Rathmore Road and Victoria way? Please can you confirm that these roads be added to the stenciling programme?

Thank you for your report.
A Supervisor has been monitoring this area.
27/2/2017 I carried out an inspection of Floyd Road and only one pile of dog fouling which was not in Floyd oad but along by the fire gate in Harvey Gardens.I have spoken to the team that sweep and monitor this area and explained the concerns raised by you. The crew are normally in this section of highway between 9 and 11 am Monday to Friday. I will continue to monitor this road.I have asked for the dog fouling stencils to be applied to the public highway as soon as the weather conditions change.I have spoken to enforcement about being issued with the signage for the lamp posts, these are currently on order. As soon as the crew are issued with the correct signage we will place them on all lamp post along Floyd Road,Harvey Gardens and Valley Grove.

28/2/2017 I visited Floyd Road and the road that leads off of it this morning. I did discover 2 piles of fouling along 2 different sections of public highway. It is very hard to prove if it is dog or foxes causing the issue as one of the fouling’s was under a section of hedge’s along Harvey Gardens the other was on Ransom Walk. Both have been cleared and this will be monitored again tomorrow.

Dog fouling on Floyd Road is the worst that I have seen in the uk. Everyday dogs foul on this street and Valley grove in Charlton. You need to send inspectors to catch these people. I believe some of them live at the flats on Valley grove. Its disgusting and the area smells like a toilet day in day out.
