Sent to Warwick District Council and Warwickshire County Council 4 minutes later
A new building has been erected across from us on Swift CLOSE and when the amenities were dug it has been tarmac filled not re cobbled (see pic) It looks very ugly on our very pretty Street. It was done last week. It's on the cobbled pavement on the left turning into Swift CLOSE before our house (34 SWIFT Close).

The road and pavement repair by the contractors when accessing the water mains are now breaking up creating potholes. The initial repair was uneven to both the road and the pavement. The pavement had cobbles removed and the repair was completed with tarmac and not cobbles. This surface leaves a hazardous surface for pedestrians as there is a step between the tarmac and the existing cobbles.
The builders who dug the trench to access the mains- are not going to repair it stating it was the council's responsibility

This pavement and road have not been attended to, as a result of the recent cold weather bringing ice and snow the surfaces have further deteriorated providing increase likelihood of tripping and large potholes.
