Persistent dog fouling in The Bramblings

Reported in the Dog fouling category by Simon Brandon at 19:26, Tuesday 14 February 2017

Sent to Waltham Forest Borough Council 3 minutes later

There is a persistent problem with dog fouling in The Bramblings and surrounding streets, particularly the alleyway connecting it Harman Avenue. The problem is particularly acute here as it is a popular cut through for people walking their dogs in Highams Park. Signs were sprayed on the pavement recently telling people to pick it up and this had some effect for a short while, but we really could do with more of them on the pavements around The Bramblings, possibly along with spray painting the poo itself to highlight the extent of the problem and health warning signs setting out the risks from dog poo. More enforcement would of course also be welcome, particularly as there are a lot of young children in the area who could end up going face first into it. I would be happy to meet with Waltham Forest Council to discuss ways that the residents can help to deal with the problem.
