Building site workers inconsiderate parking

Reported via mobile in the Parking on a footpath category anonymously at 12:21, Friday 17 July 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Buckinghamshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9802851.

Towards the bottom of St John's Drive in Stone, there is a construction site. The employees of the site are parking on junctions, parking on pavements and parking on blind bends. It is dangerous for families to walk in the area and dangerous for drivers entering and leaving Whitechurch Close due to parking on the junction. There have been occasions where they have parked opposite each other, which would make it difficult for Fire Engines to enter Whitechurch Close. The issue is during the working week, starting approximately 8am

Updates

  • This has been passed to the Parking Services Team.

Subject to available resources, a civil enforcement officer (traffic warden) will go and assess, and if a vehicle is parked in contravention of a parking restriction, a penalty charge notice may be issued.
