Multiple trees over growing into the roadway obstructing all HGV and agricultural vehicles
Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9802138.
For over six weeks trees and hedgerows on the highway verge between the junction with the A40 and the crossroads for Upper Dowdeswell have overgrown into the road such that any HGV and Agricultural vehicles have to straddle the centre line to progress. Now even small domestic vehicles are obstructed too. There is an increased risk of collision between all motor vehicles, pedestrians and equestrian users on this already hazardous stretch of road.

This report has now been passed to the Highways team for assessment.
If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.

It does not currently meet our criteria for an urgent repair but we will monitor the issue in our routine inspections.
