New traffic lights on Princes Way milton keynes

A company has put new traffic lights which i don't understand the need in them the road was fine before traffic lights they just needed to re do the white lines on the road, so people new where to go when coming out of a junction. The road Albert Street that comes onto Princes Way you could just pull out onto that road with no problems but if the white lines were re done so people could see it wouldn't be an issue. However, now they have made traffic lights coming off a roundabout which makes it more awkward. V7 Saxon Street was a 60mph but now they have traffic lights on Princes Way coming off the roundabout of V7 Saxon Street it makes it an inconvenience as for an example if the lights are red and there's traffic or if its busy it could end up blocking the road and people wont be able to go right or straight on from V7 Saxon Street.
