Sent to Liverpool City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9782690.
Outside the Mayflower / Pilgrim Pub (No. 34) by the telegraph pole opposite 23 Pilgrim Street
Hi, The water company have been replacing lead piping in Mount Street and have working next to the streetlight outside No.23 Pilgrim Street and then extending the works across the street. The Victorian cobbles have not been replaced properly, not very flat and raised above level of street without any grouting and have created a trip hazard. There is also signs of subsidence next to this section of cobbles (United Utilities Job Reference: HZ090-02357739-05). They have also poured concrete onto the street alongside the streetlight although they are not supposed to and have been told on previously and had to come back to correct this.
The power to the streetlight has not yet been turned back on (Job Reference: RAS000561) Last month I was given a deadline of 12/07/2026, I have logged another job and been given a deadline of 12/08/2026.
No mention was made of the mess the water company have made in the street.

Please note the street light has been fixed, thank you. However, the cobbles in the street have not been fixed, there is still a trip hazard in the street outside the pub. A lady did trip one evening and she was lucky that somebody with stopped her falling.
