Disabled parking bays

Reported via mobile in the Road Markings - Worn/Faded category anonymously at 13:48, Monday 13 July 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to West Northamptonshire Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 9778399.

We have 3 disabled parking spaces in our residents parking area for Ennerdale Road and Ennerdale Close NN3 6BB. There are 2 major problems. The paint has virtually disappeared and they are quite narrow. I assume they were made for older vehicles. We have three residents that use these spaces. One has a wheelchair accessible van. As I am a full time wheelchair user and my drivers seat swivels out I obviously need a wide area to get in and out of my car. We have all sorts of vehicles parking there from delivery drivers, trades people etc. and sometimes I'm stuck for parking. Could I ask these 3 spaces are updated with the appropriate diagonal paint markings in between . Thank you for your consideration.

  • Can I please ask if you are updating and painting hatch markings between spaces? I've attached an image of how my vehicle operates and why I need the space.
