Overgrown Tree In Kensington Road Touching Houses

Reported via mobile in the Tree touching building category anonymously at 14:40, Sunday 12 July 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9773071.

When new replacement trees were planted in Kensington Road we were assured that they would not grow too high. The tree between numbers 23 and 25 Kensington Road has become hugely overgrown and the branches are already touching both houses on guttering and roof. Also the branches are now very close to upstairs and downstairs windows. These branches are very large and heavy and the telephone wires are also within the large tree canopy. The branches have been getting more and more substantial over the years and should have been pruned earlier. This has now become a very big problem for us.
