Pressing the button doesn't do anything for the pedestrian lights on the town side of the crossing

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9756573.

Pedestrian push-button unit for traffic lights at the junction of London Road and Horton Road, on the West side of the road (closest to city centre). Issue present for at least 2 months. You press the button repeatedly but nothing happens. Sometimes it eventually works but very intermittent and unreliable. I have missed multiple cycles of lights before because of this!
