Overgrown grass verges

Good morning,
I would like you to address the lack of maintenance of the grass verges along Ashchurch Road, Tewkesbury.
I live along the road and the verges have not been cut for over a couple of months. They are overgrown and look scruffy. Ashchurch Road is the main thoroughfare of Tewkesbury, with drivers travelling not just within Tewkesbury but outside of the town too. It doesn’t create a good impression of the town at all. Furthermore, now that the designer outlet village has opened, visitors are coming from outside of the county. Imagine what they must think when they drive down that road, again it doesn’t create a good impression.
Please can you look at maintaining this area, particularly increasing it during the summer months when the grass grows quicker than the autumn/winter months. The residents of Ashchurch Road make an effort with the frontages of their houses and the verges are letting the area down.

If repair work is required, it will either be classed as urgent or will be put into a planned programme of works to ensure it is repaired as efficiently as possible.
In some cases a temporary repair will be needed, to make the area safe, then engineers will return to make a permanent repair.
An update on the issue will be provided.
