Ignoring our report

Whoever reads this must take action. Our local council is not doing its job and is simply ignoring repeated reports from us and other residents about illegal parking on the pavement. We have been told that the van has road tax, but that is completely irrelevant. Having road tax does not give anyone the right to park on the pavement. Pavement parking is illegal and dangerous, especially for pedestrians, wheelchair users, parents with prams, and anyone with mobility issues. We have reported this many times, yet no one has been fined and no action has been taken against any of these vehicles. This ongoing lack of enforcement is putting people at risk and is unacceptable. We expect the council to investigate this properly and take immediate action to stop this illegal and unsafe parking. If you want, I can also turn it into a strong formal complaint email to the council with a firmer tone and subject line.

    It is on pavment what is the red road .meaning.the van in pavment and it is Bronley council responsible... Just give them fine why bo one work on it ...Just egnoring

  • As per TfL's own guidance (see attached below), a red route comprises the whole width of the public highway, from building line to building line. The London Borough of Bromley is therefore not responsible for undertaking any enforcement at this location and you are again advised to visit https://streetcare.tfl.gov.uk/ to report your issues.
