Gravel resurface work inadequate signage
Reported via desktop in the Roads and Carriageways category anonymously at 13:19, Thursday 2 July 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9722079.
The road has recently been gravelled. The gravel has now formed into piles as opposed to evenly spread along the surface. There are no pre warning signs heading from Whitchurch Hill towards Crays Pond. The first sign appears at least 50 metres past where the road works were started. The gravel has been down approximately 1 week and has not been swept and the excess build up has not been dealt with. As a result this has caused my son to have a serious motorcycle accident.
