Cars parking on grass verge in centre of street.

Reported in the Parks/landscapes category by D Goodwin at 14:49, Friday 3 February 2017

Sent to Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council 1 minute later

In our street Roberts Close, we have had a huge problem with people parking their cars on a lovely grassy/landscaped area on the middle of our street. The no parking sign that was once there has also disappeared. In wet weather conditions, the grass is being turned into a big muddy mess and as a consequence it is an eyesore. Over the years I have had to stop my children from playing there as some drivers mount up the kerp without taking a second glance. Therefore, creating a very dangerous situation, never mind the fright it has caused.

I wonder whether it would be possible to either inform residents of the no parking policy that has been in place for many years or even place rocks around the edges as I have seen placed in similar areas.
