Tenants "moving out " possessions dumped

Monday a.m carrier bag of kitchen bits, coathangers and a saucepan dumped at Summerhill Rd end of King Dicks Lane. Between 1730 Mon when I put bins out and Tues 1730 when I brought them in, someone moved the saucepan lid and added a load of other stuff to the location shown at The Avenue end of King Dicks Lane. Clearly somebody moving out of a flat and not taking their tat or leaving it for their landlord.

  • Can you please advise a date when this will be cleared? Its nearly a month now. More rubbish got added as it wasn't moved. Delays in clearing attracts more dumpers! Thankfully a netal man came round and took the metal items - sadly the only thing BCC could actually have got money for. I put some in the black bins too so theres nowhere near as much to clear. Plastic items and the wooden bookshelf only..

  • This has been marked as "Scheduled" since 1st July - that is over month. On 29th July I requested an update - that is over a week ago. Local residents now have disposed of much of it in black wheelie bin rubbish, which may be illegal, or breach Bristol Wastes contract, HOWEVER - tis is due to the lack of feedback on progress of this case which followed the protocols mandated by B.C.C. I dont really want to pester our local councillors, so please provide an update ASAP so I dont have to Many thanks.

  • Very, VERY disappointed in the response to this report. Have now had to clear this ourselves sue to no indication being provided by FixMyStreet as to when it was going to be cleared. People add more rubbish to these sites and not the first time the FMS system has let us down. PLEASE CANCEL THE JOB - you still never told us when it was scheduled for.
