Grass Verges

Thank you for cutting the green space at Tillingbourne Green - however the verges are always being left out and are now at a ridiculous height. This also includes in between the goal posts on the greem. The grass darts are particularly bad for dogs and on numerous times these are clinging to my dogs and have even cost money at the vets. We are regular walkers here

Hi the green space may have been cut on the 10 July but the verges have not. I walk my dogs everyday here and they have not been cut in over a year. These remain an absolute mess and covered in grass darts which affect my dogs. I reported this initially back in June and the response was 3 weeks. These verges have definitely not been touched. Somewhere there is a miscommunication.

Thank you for your additional comments, and please accept our apologies for this issue.
We acknowledge that, although the main green space has been cut, the verges have not been included as expected. The back-up team have now been instructed to ensure the verges, including the areas between the goal posts, are included as part of the next cut.
We apologise for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience.

Good Morning thank you for taking appropriate action . I can see on.my walk this morning that the verges have been cut adjacent to poverest school and this looks so much better. However the other side of the green space has yet to be done (bottom of Church Hill Wood). Can I assume contractors will be back to do this side? Thanks for your continued assistance in making this space so much more nicer
