A number of car driving along the pavement to park on the grass
Reported in the Car parking category by Alan Brooker at 14:58, Wed 1 February 2017
Sent to Spelthorne Borough Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 970304.
The pavement in the area is damaged and often slippery from mud as cars are using the pavement as a road and driving along it to park up on the grass outside the cottages.
There is a stretch of around 50 metres of pavement affected. There is no dropped kerb and the cars and Jockey Club vehicles are clearly illegally parked.

Completely the obvious solution is some gravel and a dropped curb. That would be permeable and not increase the flood risk on this very flood-sensitive road.

Problem still there, the pavement is now cracked and sunken in places. The cars drive along the pavement to park in the now wrecked grassy area.
