Tarmac and kerb lifted by tree roots
Reported anonymously at 09:03, Tue 31 January 2017
Sent to Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council and Warwickshire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 969148.
Overgrown trees have been removed but tree roots have lifted the kerb and roadway. There are plans, I understand, to improve this verge with removal of tree roots and put in more decorative small flowering trees.

This problem is still outstanding and part of this verge is being used as an overnight car park damaging it and spreading mud with its tyres for some distance on the highway.

The contractors have fixed the lifted roadway but kerbstones look as if they have been laid by an amateur and protrude dangerously and could burst or damage tyres and cars .

We in the cul-de-sac do try to keep it nice and tidy but this verge is a disgrace, it is such an untidy mess it is letting the whole area down. Please do something about it soon.

Dear sirs, I notice the reports I have submitted 'changed to closed', this is NOT the case as the verge in question is still in an overgrown state and is now in a mess from this constant parking and tyre marks are now 6 inches deep plus mud on road.

I have now contacted our local councillor about the state of this verge as it is still an unsightly overgrown mess with deep grooves caused by the overnight parking. This problem has been ongoing for nearly two years and nobody seems to care, is anything going to done?
