The grass verge adjacent to footpath on Brabazon Road has not been cut for some time. It is starting to become more difficult to cross especially for elderly or infirm residents to access their cars or to cross road for buses. It is also becoming an health and safety concern for residents as it is becoming increasingly difficult to see dog feaces (owners are less inclined to pick it up as they know they are less likely to be reported as the waste is hidden) and things like broken bottles or cans. This also makes it more difficult for the cleaners to pick the constant stream of litter discarded by pedestrians and car owners once they have finished their food from the local shops. I know that different agencies are responsible for this area and the space opposite Cranford Lane near Harlech Gardens, but it never ceases to amaze me that this recreational area is always well maintained and well managed whilst being lightly used , and the heavily used verge with a heavy footfall is always neglected. I and many other Brabazon residents would very much appreciate you kindly looking into the ongoing maintenance of verges on our road; it is an issue that has been reported for several years now. Thank you🙏
