No access by Road to Bannatynes

Reported via desktop in the Other issue category anonymously at 16:10, Monday 22 June 2026 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9664679.

The road works on Cotham Brow have made it impossible to get to Bannatynes car park. Access is blocked at Cheltenham Road and Archfield Road. The blockage goes right across the road and no gap has been left to for access for residents and businesses. The Road closure order says the closure is only authorised from Redland road, rather than Cheltenham Road, which would mean access would be possible so the road closure is not compliant with the road closure order. Other routes in are all one way streets making access impossible. Brookfield Lane would be a way in, but that was blocked as it was being used as a car park by the contractors.
