Broken/damaged curb wall on edge of ditch and request for street sweeper lorry to clear debris

Reported via desktop in the Bridge/Structures category anonymously at 13:39, Wednesday 17 June 2026

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9637756.

The street sweeper lorry has not been in the village for some years. As seen in the photo, a build up of earth and debris at the C77 roadside is causing weeds to grow and obscure the wall, contributing to a danger for pedestrians and motorists alike. The low wall between the mark on the map and the Hill House drive (SP11 9BS) is right at the top of a deep portion of the ditch to protect pedestrians and vehicles travelling along the road. The wall was built many years ago and has been deteriorating for some time. It needs urgent repair.
