Grass verge needs cut

This verge is now an utter disgrace - a jungle and 90% x 5ft high, rye-grass monoculture. With added litter, nettles and rats. Please get it cut without any further delay - it's a year since it was last cut = farcical. It's not a 'green corridor' (I think you'll find adjacent Vic. Pk. is the preferred wildlife route...). It's not 'biodiverse'. It's not a 'wildflower meadow' - which REQUIRES grass cutting and raking, and nutrient-poor soil. It's a historic, residential facing plot and now a total mess. Please stop trying to classify it as something it's clearly not just to save the bother of now maintaining it. Thanks.
