I am applying for a white bar marking as vehicles regularly park across the vehicular access to my property, obstructing entry and exit from my driveway.
The driveway is used for off-street parking and is served by a lowered kerb/crossover. Large vehicles, including vans and box trucks, frequently park directly across the access point, making it difficult and sometimes impossible to safely enter or leave the driveway. When this occurs, visibility is significantly reduced and access is restricted, often requiring alternative manoeuvres using neighbouring access points.
This is a recurring issue rather than an isolated incident. The requested white bar marking would help highlight the driveway access and discourage vehicles from obstructing it, improving safety and access to the property.
